I haven't blogged for quite a long time, nor have I been playing much MTGO these days.
I have been away and willing to fly away, enjoying several boardgames in real life with friends.

Bloodbowl Team Manager is greater than never with 5 players and the new teams included with the last expansion, Foul Play. Ahhhh those goblins !!!
Choas in the old world is another awesome Warhammer related game, that makes for long and unexpected passion. Playing Khorne is really my style, and the Horned Rat expansion allows for 5 players to fight for domination and corruption in the old world.
But this post is about something very different. My local game store introduced me to a nice tactical card game that is played on a battle mat, gathering 2-6 players in an unstoppable battle frenzy. Oh that sounds Oldschool !!! The arts on the cards are from Steve Cox, they look Oldschool too !!!
Orcs, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Elves, Templars and Undead ? Yes here are the available factions, you'll have to pick your choice and manage an army at war. Warriors, support units, ranged units, berseker units, cavalry, flyers and so on, each unit comes with its unique abilities and impact on board.
Let me introduce to you the Lords Of War card game !!!
This game is simply addictive. Very simple rules and mechanics, but deep and complex options as the game goes by.
Each product contains TWO themed preconstructed 36 cards decks, and a Battle Mat for you to immediatly start playing. Of course, you can tune the preconstructed decks and even build your own Mercenaries deck for more competitive play.
The various Kickstarter Campaigns (3 until now) allow for more diversity and new cards and themed decks. I can only encourage you to try out this game and back it up on Kickstarter. You will get access to already funded stuffs and add-ons, including accessories, unique General cards, and foil commander cards, for a very interesting price, given that when you start playing this game, you just want to purchase everything available.
Ohh, the Kickstarter campaign for the new product, introducing Magic Spells and Monstrous creatures, just ends in 6 days. So now is time to help the good and talented people at Lords Of War making their game known. Because it's just a very good game ! Many stretch goals have been reached already, that makes sure you will get them as reward if you pledge at least 10 british pounds.
